Sail to the Kyles of Bute, Tighnabruaich, Loch Fyne, Arran and Rothesay

Charter the Black Pearl for day sailing on the Firth of Clyde

A Typical Day's Sailing Aboard The Black Pearl

Holy Loch

Your adventure begins with you being collected* and brought to Loch Riddon. You are then taken a very short distance by tender to the mooring for boarding.

After tea/coffee/soft drinks and biscuits, there will be a safety briefing and running procedures of the yacht, including the tour route for your day.

We will then cast off and go sailing. All who wish to participate are very welcome to do so.

Lunch will usually be served at anchor - there are many scenic and secluded anchorages in the Kyles and nearby, each with its own charm.

After lunch, we continue to sail or perhaps search for seals or porpoises, as well as the various sea birds:- gannets, guillemots, etc. Don't forget to bring your camera - as well as wildlife you can photograph the Sleeping Warrior of Arran or The Maids of Bute. One thing is sure - the scenery is second to none and best seen from the water.

We then head back to the mooring to arrive back at 1630 – 1700.

What to bring with you

Soft soled shoes or trainers and waterproofs.

*20 mile radius of Loch Riddon by arrangement.
